Consuelo T. Lopez is an independent hair and makeup artist now based in Colorado Springs. Formerly known as CTL Artistry, Consuelo brings her extensive experience from major markets like Miami and San Francisco to her current roles. Alongside her thriving freelance and bridal work, she continues to offer salon services as part of her broad repertoire, remaining an actively licensed cosmetologist.

Consuelo is also no stranger to the world of film, Broadway theater, opera, and ballet, having lent her talents to a variety of productions. She’s a proud former member of the Makeup Artists & Hair Stylists Guild I.A.T.S.E. Local 706 and has served as an instructor at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Her artistry has crossed borders; she has traveled throughout South America, Central America, and the Caribbean as a trainer and consultant, enriching her global perspective on beauty.

Currently, she’s building Rooted West Beauty, a new venture that will feature her own makeup products and a future bridal company. In addition to her other work, Consuelo is involved with a local school in Woodland Park, lending her expertise to their wig department.
